CD 204 Servo Oscillation Problems

If i could take a look at a refurbished CD 204 , the servo’s are screaming

The Service report that came with the player

“Repair/overhaul Philips 204 Description of repairs carried out

1. Diagnosis: Detailed inspection of the device.

2. Replaced parts:
Replace belt to ensure correct operation of the mechanism.
Replace all small electrolytic capacitors (electrolytic capacitors) to prevent future leakage problems and instability in the circuit.
Replace part of the power supply, including defective components that caused a risk of overheating and malfunctions.
Replace servo motor to restore precise control of the device.

3. Cleaning: Complete cleaning of the interior of the appliance carried out at

Corrosion ?

Oxidation

Ground of IC’s have connected to ground shield

Extra GND to Processor

Has been replaced

Extra Capicitor why …?

Offset trimmer , has been toucher

33 µf on CDM-1 is not that good anymore

Re-placed bad capicitors and readjusting offset

Replaced some bad capicitors

Font PCB

Replaced Capicitors and Tactile switches

Working fine agian , as NEW 🙂
